About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Assam, India. Before joining IIT, Guwahati I served as an Assistant Director at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) an organization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW), Government of India (GoI).

 

My specialization is in Agribusiness Management, especially Agribusiness Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development.

I am a founding member of 'Centre for Innovation and Agripreneruship' which is a section 8 company hosted at MANAGE. It is a Centre of Excellence in Agribusiness Incubation and Knowledge Partner to MoA&FW for Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RKVY RAFTAAR). Played an instrumental role as Co-Principal Investigator and COO/Business Manager in executing the overall activities. Also, worked as the Project Coordinator for the National Entrepreneurship Awards curated by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoMSDE), GoI.

Have 10+ years of experience in academia, industry and research. Have 30+ publications in the journals/books of national and international repute.
